isn't it? And America is one of the safer countries when it comes to driving.
In Britain, over a quarter of the 3,743 people killed by traffic are just walking
along. And you are almost six times more likely to die in a road accident in Korea
or Portugal than you are in Iceland or Sweden. All other animals swim (like me),
walk, crawl, slide or fly and so did humans - until you invented engines.
Is it worth the terrible number of deaths and injuries to be able to travel so
much? And what about the pollution which kills loads more people? And global warming?
And the horrible noise? I just don't get it
